August, 2006 Like many of you, I've been a "car nut" since I was a kid. I had subscriptions to Truckin, Hot Rod and other magazines which I memorized and kept through the years. I always dreamed that I'd own a vehicle that would be nice enough to be featured in a magazine. Well, the September issue of Four Wheeler has my Bronco on the cover and a three page writeup inside (I'm the centerfold :). Check it out here. |

First production release of the Gear Banger delivered

April 3, 2006 The first production version of the Gear Banger was delivered to Rich of Wild Horses on 4/1 at Jerry Ornellas' BBQ. The next day Jack went with a handful of other Early Bronco's (and one Toyota) to Hollister Hills OHRV park to play. This was to be the first test of the production Gear Banger. Hollister is an unforgiving place that will eat you up and chew you out if you aren't on top of your game. Good, firm shifting is one of the requirements to get out in one piece. When you need reverse, you need reverse! Well, I'm happy to report the Gear Banger performed perfectly. Not only did it deliver the quick firm shifts required but it looked great while doing it. After Wild Horses has a chance to examine the shifter, an order will be placed and the Gear Banger will be available to all via the Wild Horses website. Stay tuned!!! |

February 28, 2006 After far too long on the drawing board, the first production release of the Gear Banger is scheduled to be released on 4/1! This release will be delivered to Wild Horses for inspection prior to ordering the first batch of shifters. Please stay tuned for their public debut! |
